The Porta-potty compartment locks from the inside. I used a 3/16" drill that was 8" long to drill vertically from the inside of the galley into the top of the left compartment door. A 1/8" steel rod slips down this hole and into the door to lock the compartment. Works on the other compartment door and the A/C unit's vent door, too.
