Night two of my first trip featured high winds and rain "like a cow pissin' on a flat rock". That storm gave me some damp cardboard and a half cup of water on the foot of my sleeping bag.
The former owner of this tent didn't fair as well. It sorta collapsed on him. Made as a summer tent, it was free to whoever wanted it. A few "splints" on the frame and extra ropes and it was, well, better than before. Which was good as condensation had made my "hooch"... umm... uncomfortable. OK it was wet
