It doesn't take much to steam bend wood. A neighbor was remodling his house and I salvaged some gutter downspouts. With a teapot and a Coleman stove you are in business. About 15 min. per 1/4 inch wood will bend it right. Be aware, you should have straight grained wood and steaming time varies with species and whether or not it is kiln dried or air dried wood.
