ordered on ebay, 4" thick, probably 3" would have been enough. i haven't opened the "ball" yet, but it is a medium-firm, per ebay seller.
fast shipping, smooshed into a small wad, wrapped in plastic wrap. feels like it weighs 20 lbs.
