Hatch opens and closes real nice with those supports after a few trips to the store to get the right ones. I used 25 inch supports from Autozone with a min. of 42.5 and a max of 57 and it closes and opens real nice. I set it up to when it gets close to coming down it's got that slight slam of the hatch and when all my trim is on it should seal it pretty tight. I'm hoping so far!!
