Of course, an even NICER place we go to in the fall is Hunting Island State Park, SC. It is actually an island, and has 300 foot wide white beaches, with sites RIGHT ON THE BEACH (Here's a picture of the time our site got flooded cause the tide went over the embankment into our tent):
The Ranger explaining that, yes, the island is being washed away, so if you ever want to see a pristine island camping paradise, look up Hunting Island State Campground before it's gone!
