Image Description

The trailer I'm planning to build on.
A 25 year old Canadian Tire folding trailer that has carried our camping gear all over Ontario. It has been rebuilt a few times and had the important items replaced. The trailer came back to me with a bent axle because someone I loaned it to jumped a curb with it. '82 K-Car rear axle was promptly cut, stretched and mounted underneath. Somehow the tongue got twisted slightly and that channel steel was replaced with 3"X3"X.125" square tubing. Then the side rails rotted out after 10 years or so, I made new side rails from 2"X3"X.085" rectangular tubing, notching out the holes for the cross members and bolting everything back together. All in all it's a pretty solid little trailer now.
