Glued with GE Silicone II caulk (no more construction adhesive). The bottom is clamped by the trim piece whose screws (sitting on finish washers) goes through holes in the aluminum skin into the floor cleats (remember them?). I did use Spax screws on the top of the aluminum which I carefully countersunk so they were flush like aircraft rivets.
Note the aluminum oxidation on the right around the holes drilled for the tail lights. I was able to fix this up later...
