new 3500lb Dexter axle w/brakes (wider stance also), 3000lb springs, heavy steel frame repair rails with welded/bolted hangers (all by me) = more weight at/over the axle (also raised the rear, lowered the front)>>>in concert with the heavier, forward-mounted tongue box, and the perfectly adjusted weight-distributing hitch system (mfg. by me), trailer is glued to the ground during travel (solid as a rock!) I love it when a plan comes together!!!
