Latest project in the works... my hatch is so heavy and must be lifted 105 degrees means that I need a mechanical assist for my wife to lift it (it's difficult to hold up while inserting the prop rods)...and I'm getting older too. This is the placement for a single actuator, mounted slightly off-center, to lift and hold the hatch. A wooden ramp will spread the stresses incurred.
