I haven't been in here for a while. I hope it's not too late for you to add me to the list.
I'll take one if it's still possible.

Kevon

I took a chance and ordered a few extras. You should be all good!

I don't think so but would not want to be quoted on that. As we have always been there for only a few days that part of the building has never piqued my interest. :SH

Was just curious. Thought a dryer would be handy in case the gathering gets rained on  We've managed to stay reasonably dry when rained out on other camping trips.

Whooo Hoooo, one week to go and it's camping time

Gary
I am hoping for warm weather for your gathering. As in the past years I am heading 800 miles south for my first gathering of the year. This year I am leaving a week early(tomorrow) and traveling an extra 400 miles to camp my through Kentucky and Arkansas on my way to the Beaver’s Bend, Ok gathering. I know I will have fun and I wish everyone the best CNTL yet.
Will see you at Galena

There believe there are two washers and two dryers in the laundry room.

We're entirely cool with that :) Thinking along those lines, any food we bring to share at the gathering will be prepackaged, unopened from the grocery store------no stray dog hairs : :R (which is tough to do with Border Collies!).

As of now (Sat. morn), the rain forecast/ percentage for the gathering has dropped!

Count me OUT for any thing to do with the shelter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With this kind of statement I don't need any part of it !!!!

I got a p.m. From Verna. She was in the hospital for a couple of days and thinks it best not to chance the trip.

That's too bad she is not feeling well.

FEEL BETTER, so you can join us in the

I'm just getting back from straightening up the cabin for another summer. Dock is in but don't have the boat on the lift yet. I'll take care of that later.

As with all gatherings a spirit of cooperation and being cognizant of others is important to everyone having a good time and wanting to come back again next year. We should not have to discuss the issue of dogs in the shelter as there are park rules concerning the subject. Also, there have always been four or five dogs at every Cooler and their owners have always made every effort to be responsible and I'm sure that will continue. I have not heard anyone express concerns in the past. If there are some please let me know in particular if it is mine. I will correct any issue anyone has with Finn and make sure it does not happen again.

When I first posted about the possibility that we may want to rent the shelter for Friday the forecast for Sheboygan was for rain on Thursday, Friday and cloudy on Saturday.. When I checked over the weekend it said rain Thursday but nice on Friday and raining again on Saturday. Tonight the forecast is for thunder storms Thursday, rain on Friday and nice on Saturday followed by rain on Sunday. No telling how the weather will change between now and when we arrive. Tomorrow I will rent the shelter for Friday if it is available. That way even if Dennis or Cheryl were not able to get the keys early we will have the shelter available for the majority of the time we are there no matter what weather we have. Should the park have gotten sticky like they did one year we possibly would not be able to have the shelter until 9 o'clock on Saturday and a Friday night meet and greet would be difficult.

Still got lots to do to get the camper ready for the start of camping season.

Verna take care of yourself first. We will miss you and look forward to seeing you down the road. Remember Sherry has a gathering at Horicon Marsh about a month later. Take care.
