Is there a separate thread for the food?

There will be a food thread about a month before the event. Plenty of time to find the perfect recipe.

There are now 8 sites left in our loop. Several are also left in the adjoining loop and then there are the non electric sites or those farther away.

Talked to AK's Superintendent yesterday. She called because she wanted to make sure that the park's plans would not interfere with our plans. So what is she up to? She wants to have a special Tiki torch walk on Saturday evening and it will go right by the shelter which we have rented. The park will be putting out torches over most of the board walk for a nighttime walk. Should start about 7:00 and continue till about 10:00. Information will be going onto AK's web pages in the near future. One more nice thing for us to do at AK this year.

Electric camping sites are going fast. 6 or 7 sites total are left in our loop and the next loop over. Tons of non-electric.

Gary, is this walk open to the public, or just for those with camp site reservations? If they are inviting the public to walk around, we will be at dinner when people are walking around, leaving or sites unoccupied. If that is the case, maybe consider dinner at 5. That gives us time to get back to camp. Just a thought. It may make for an interesting evening if the weather cooperates.
