Looks like we missed our second event this year. :( We've had a crazy summer and fall. Cindi's mother did a backwards flip off the stairs at the end of July and was just released from the hospital last Friday. Needless to say we haven't been able to plan much of anything for the past couple of months. Hopefully things will settle down and we will see you in the spring.

The newspaper article looked good. :applause: How many teardrops did you have this year? The fall campout with cooler temps is my favorite. For some reason hot buttered rum comes to mind when I think about fall camping.

I am almost certain all 22 that signed up made the trip.

Warm days and cool nights with a full moon it was a real nice time.

Campgrounds were well kept and the restroom/showers were very nice and spotlessly maintained.

The pot luck was very very cool no not the food the weather a 25 MPH cold breeze had most folks huddled close to the restroom building.

Al the food was fantastic as usual !

A special compliments to the newbies "The Landbergs" on their pineapple upsidedown cake OMG ! :R

Jim, we missed you and Cindy.

We had 20 on the map but a couple of "mystery campers turned out be part of the group as well.

You would have liked the "Triple XXX" restaurant in West Lafayette.

Great burgers and a really good Breakfast (that most of us had at 6:30pm).

Check the spring gathering at Versailles State Park (new thread).

The food was great at the pitch in (the best yet in my opinion!) I want to remind everyone to post some of your delicious recipes on the Hoosier Chapter Cookbook thread.

I'm just going for the "day trip" too. Jim, from Fort Wayne is going for the day too.

We'll ride down together in the morning to check out the park.
