Wine, Cheese, and Apple Pie. A very "American" experience. :lol:

Do you know if they moved their site? I checked the reservation system and for Friday & Saturday night, they show Site 123 as being green (available). That wasn't the case last week.

Be there Friday am. Bringing the new 12 vt / 110 vt Dometic RV Fridge we bought in Louisville. And after spending a week in the 98 degree Louisville heat on pavement, the Touring Lodge will be air-conditioned as well.

Dan , Were you at the big RV show ?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A/C A/C A/C
We are all turning into premadonnas :oops:
We will be sporting A/C as well in the barn. Same AC unit that we had at the Madison Summer Gathering 2 years ago mounted in Chubby.
Started loading the hard campin' stuff yesterday (cast iron , lid lifters, grills etc.....) What we don't get finished today we will pick at thru the week so Friday morning won't be so damn crazy.
There has been no mention of door prizes yet are we planning anything ?
We hope to arrive Friday lunch or shortly after. Looking forward to seeing all the gang. :thumbsup:
We will be there Thursday night. We reserved for Fri & Sat but Carie suggested we leave Thurs after work so that's the new plan. I just made the additional nights reservation online. :thumbsup:
Still plugging away at the galley but it's nothing that I can't stop and pull out anytime so I'll be packing about Wed and plan to be out of here before noon Friday. As it's only me and the boys it should be pretty easy to be out of here quick, I can pack all there stuff for them early.
Side note who's needing name tag buttons?
And I'll have the teardrop koozies with me if anyone is still wanting one or some.
Name tag buttons are something we do for people who are jioning us for the first time kind of a way to help learn names.
My wife and I have been working like crazy to get ready for our first outing. The galley won't be finished, but it's nothing we can't finish later. We're looking forward to meeting everyone. :thumbsup:
Have a great day and hoping the weather is great no matter where you are!!!
OK, with 4 days to go before Whitewater, We should make up a menu for the Pitch-in. :twisted:
Let the "Food Fest" begin
Kurt - New England Polish Sausage, Cabbage & Potatoes.
Bob & Vickie - Apple brown Betty plus Big loaves of Bread
Dave & Barb - T-Berry salad (vegetables).
Dan & Laura - German Potato salad, and German chocolate cherry cake
Carie & Alan - Mac & Cheese
Ella & Tom - Chicken enchilada casserole in the Dutch oven
Karl - Hamburgers & Hot Dogs (Buns optional)
Faye - Broccoli, Slaw and Brownies
Godskid - big pot of white rice
Any others to add to the menu?? :thinking:
Hell Chubby is going on 3 and the inside is still rough.
The Barn is over a year and I am thinking about finishing the paneling on the ceiling some day.
You may grab an idea at the gathering an be glad you have time to change your plans a bit.
If it were a beauty contest neither me nor my trailer would be allowed in :laughter:
Glad you are gonna make it.
