Great, we have three reserved so far, come on everyone, make yours too!!! :applause:

We also need someone nearby to reserve the shelter. ;) The gathering would not be the same without it.

I will be in site 15. I will also reserve the shelter, we will split the cost by how many show up that weekend.
I was thinking that we could have movies at night. I have a projector with a/v inputs, its not an expensive one and picture quality is fair but good enough for watching movies while camping. If anyone has anything with a/v outputs (IE, camcorder, DVD, IPOD) and has some home movies or any movie we could watch. Also I think a wine and beer tasting on Friday night could be fun.
See you all then and Merry Christmas.

That all sounds good! Thanks for offering to reserve the shelter. Just let us know what our share ends up to be. I got an ipod for Christmas. Hopefully I'll have it figured out by April and could load movies on it.

Hey Bob, glad you are coming . I got a PM from Doug (pigcooker) that he was going to try and reserve the shelter by mail. Maybe check with him first. Since you are close you have an advantage. I am happy to help with the up front money with whom ever gets the reservation if that helps.

You can't reserve the shelter before the 1st of the year anyway, so if Doug doesn't reply here by then I will contact him. I will probably go out there and take care of it next Sunday. We can just settle up for the cost on the camping weekend. We can just split it by how many show up. It cost (I believe) $100 and if by some weird chance only 5 of us show up it will cost $20 each. Unless I here STOP before next Sunday I will "Get er Done".

We are planning on coming again. Probably reserve site #3 again. Going to wait until it gets closer to reserve our site.

If it's an extra cost, we could host it at our campsite.

they have been giving us the keys early in the past. I think it sounds like a great idea. I would like to add home made beverages and cheeses would be a big plus but not a requirement. IMHO

getting the keys

Postby pigcooker » Sat Jan 01, 2011 1:42 pm

The paperwork that was sent said, "Upon check-in, a key will be issued and must be returned upon departure"

How about we call it "A Cocktail Party". A sort of, Pot Luck of Beverages and Appetizers to share. :wine: :icedtea: :chips:
