You'll notice SaGR has been real quiet since I asked how many people the 5th wheel holds....

Hi all - it has been some time from my last post on T&TTT.

I was looking forward to the trip up to Ws. to meet everyone and get ideas for my build but health issues will keep me grounded in Sterling.

Please post about all the fun and let's see lots of pictures.

Have FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty vague there Bob.
What I do when looking for something is go to google maps. Type the city and then there will be a business tab to allow you to type in what you're looking for. I brought up Wheeling, IL, a N Chicago suburb, and then typed metal and ten business came up. Then I typed brewery since mabe that was what you are looking for 8) and got http://www.theram.com/. sounds like a good time, Lets go!

I was looking for someone from the Wheeling area that might know something about a transmission rebuilder.

I should have made my self clearer. I need to find a rebuilt trans for a customer and a company in Wheeling can do it for me. I just was wondering if anyone had heard of them and their reputation. Its Gator transmissions. Thats all, just a shot in the dark.

Hi everyone!

I am really looking forward to this coming weekend, however, I have also been very involved with a local enviromental group that has been putting together an Earth Day event, which happens to be on the Saturday!

I actually have an entire alternative car show going at it!

My wife wants to be around for the event, and can't get out of work early on Friday anyways.

It looks like the compromise is me coming out on Friday, staying overnight, leaving in time to be back in Oconomowoc at 10AM, and then she and I coming back to the park right after the event.

So, can anyone tell me what times we are expecting to do group meals? I wish I didn't have to miss any of it! Why does all the fun stuff happen on the same weekend!?!?! (There's a big canoe race that day too!)

Also, any interest in me bringing out my electric motorcycle?

still no idea what i'm doing...

The breakfast on Saturday will be shortly after 8AM, that's when we get the key. Supper pot luck I would think will be around 17:30, but what ever starts on time.
I would think anything with the words motor and cycle would be interesting.

How about we shoot for 8:30? It will take a bit to get everyones breakfast contributions in the building and set up, plus if we need to wipe down tables, etc.

I have been doing a little Water proofing: after two years I have finally sealed the hinge, and I am recoating the exterior. I just hope the weather report changes a bit before the weekend so i won't need to a hydrostatic test.

Well here it is with less than a week to go. I looked back and this thread started about 11 months ago. The turn out should be twice of last year. We have a shelter rented for Saturday from 8:00AM to 11PM which comes to a cost of $3 per site. Planned is a breakfast extravaganza and a potluck supper. Games throughout the day, a moderate about of drinking, lies and tall tails around a campfire. I checked our sites this afternoon, most of the snow in the campground is now gone with the exception of site 20, see attached picture.

wink wink nod nod. If anyone has any questions about things in the area just ask. The latest weather report is looking much better.
See you all this weekend
