Think Nancy and I are gonna make a roll thru on the way to my mothers In Glasgow KY. I will take 231 down and 64? over to Louisville and on down. If Mark makes it I hope to pick up yet another winter project from him, a factory bike. Big Heavy and ugly just like me. We will make a great looking pair

Wish we could stay overnight but it's hard to be 2 places at once.

OK, back to the Saturday night Pot-Luck or Pitch-in......

BBQ? OK, is this grilled burgers, hot dogs, and the fixin's? Tell me if that's what you have in mind, or do you want BBQ beef, or pork or chicken, plus fixin's?

And, by the way....my 4 1/2 year old great nephew will be camping with me at this gathering He is a very energetic young man, loves his Aunt Verna, insists upon pancakes for breakfast, peanut butter and strawberry jelly for lunch and hot dogs and marshmellows for supper.

I'll make some Barbecued chicken wings, and some chicken tenderloins, too.

Well, with all of the meat dishes it might be a good idea to have some sides.

I think the Olsons will contribute some macaroni salad and some baked beans (I need to work up some "methane hugs" ).

Looks as if the menu is getting a little monochromatic. I'll brighten it up and bring something green. Won't commit right yet to what that might be, but it will be green. Might throw in a little red, too.

My neighbor has apple trees that have produced a bumper crop this year. He has said I can get as many as I want. I would be willing to gather up a batch of Granny Smiths and Red Delicious to bring along if someone would be willing to help me peal them so we can make fresh applesauce. Any takers?
