I'll mention it again to my son. Last time he said his boss at Channel 21 wasn't very interested. Unless they think it is newsworthy or they need fill in material they don't want to go to the expense of sending out a crew. What interests us does not necessarily intrest non-campers. I've had a few people say "You sleep it that!"

To each his own.

GPS Reminder....I have printed information on 3 daytime, and 1 night time geocache to find. If you are interested bring your GPS. If you don't have one we can work in small teams. We only need one GPS for each team.

The "Tri-State gathering" at Chain of Lakes State Park was a rousing success.
We had a blast and the 40 plus teardroppers were all able to enjoy the fun, food and the company.

Thanks to everyone who attended and special thanks to the other directors (and co-directors) for making this gathering so special.  :applause:

Pictures will follow shortly.

I agree with Galen, Susan and I had a blast - we met a bunch of great people - food was fantantic and as the rain goes. It was nothing like FCP. We'll be back again next year.

I want to thank all the folks for their interest in my little barn project. Especially the fact that they refrained from gut wrenching laughter in my presence

I know there are 8 happy campers with brand spankin' new lid lifters and I would like to thank them for their patronage.

To the 2 campers that ordered "redneck antennas" they are built and ready to ship will have them out in the mail no later than Friday!

And yes we ate too much ,drank to much, and had way too much fun thanks to all for good conversation and a great time.

And a special thank you to Scott for the pictures ! ( but I still want my damn buttons) :D

Looking forward to the fall gathering!

Bob, the "Barn" was a big hit. It adds a new dimension to the creativity of the "Hoosier" chapter.

I had a lot of people ask about the "antenna". Mine pulled in 14 channels right away and I had entertainment whenever I wanted it.

I also heard a lot of talk about the lid lifters.

Jeff was getting 20 channels with his but we were more in the open than you were. All my electronics were mounted in Chubby so I didn't have my tv and antenna to play with :(

Is that the "redneck antannae" I saw at somebody's teardrop, with a pie plate and a soda can? It's really *functional* ??? Wow!! I had no idea!
