Dave and Rebecca
I have heard nothing but good things about the Camp Inn. I was up to the 3rd annual Camp Inn Camp Outt last fall and met Cary and Craig and their crew and took a tour of the facility. What a fun bunch who really focus on putting together a great product. I look forward to meeting you. Now I know who will be behind my site! :applause:

Hello to all, my first time to post. We have a new Camp Inn ordered for pickup in early May, and Turkey Run will be our first outting. We are new to teardrop traveling, and can't wait to get started. We may have lots of questions for all of you veterans, beware. So you can put down David and Rebecca Merritt aka: Mariah Sunset

Great, You picked a great way to go camping. The first gathering is always one to remember. You'll meet some very nice people at Turkey Run and I'm looking forward to meeting you. If (god forbid) the CampInn isnt quite ready, I would like for you to come regardless.
There are many veterans in the group and some great builders too. We all like to show off our tears and love to get to know new enthusiasts.
Glad you can make it, it should be a good gathering. :applause:

Do you all think there will be any unreserved site? We would really like to come but can't commit yet. On the other hand I would hate to drive over there and not have a spot. What to do, what to do.........

Are we there yet?

Welcome Dave and Rebecca
We too are newbies to tear drop camping, but not new to camping in general. It should be a grand time for all at Turkey Run.

If the worst happens, there are other camp grounds near by. Why not reserve a spot and cancel if you have to, It's worth the fee and we'd love to have some Missourians.
We usually have a couple from Branson (Aurora) Missouri every year. They don't have internet so I have mailed them the details.

This is a great group, I think you;ll enjoy it. :applause:

I looked at the Turkey run site. There are quit a few sites within the turkey run camp ground available.

I would have to agree with Kurt , reserve the site then cancel if you need to.

It must be the company or the management.

It is a great turnout especially for this early in the year. I still have several people that usually come that have not signed up yet.

I am thinking it may be the long winter days that have people dreaming about camping. I know it is for me. Plus it is always good to have something to look forward too, I know I am.

scott,
they told me they would only hold them for 7 days :( . i'm actually surprised they were held so long without any cost to me. i tried to get my site moved to where jim and mark are but they wanted to charge me extra for that. :x so alan and i will be off to the side still lonely because i refuse to pay more for something they just have to change in their computers.
mark,
call turkey run and check on your registration. i didn't get a response from them like i did with mine. :? i should have gotten a card to send to you from them.

Cheryl , I had sent you an e-mail With a couple of questions about the reservation a couple of weeks ago. Did you get it? if so i didn't get your return message for some reason. No big deal though, I just went on the site and done the reservation directly. Just one less for you to have to mail out...
Scott,
I will see you and everyone else there!! I just hope i don't have to sleep on this bare frame i have sitting in the shop. The weather has been really bad here. If it isn't pouring rain it is snowing, and that means i have to go to work. Man could i use a couple of good dry days to get this sandblasting
done! Oh well I'll just keep collecting parts and pre-build some of it if it won't break. Only 112 days left! :worship:
