neat experience.I did hear from a couple that came up
to Whitewater to check out the TDs. In fact, we are
meeting them tomorrow at a car rally and they will
be showing off their new TD they had made at the
same place we did. They loved the idea after seeing
all of ours at the gathering. Hope to
recruit them for the September gathering.

OK Barb .....

Time to report in have you gotten us another recruit ?

I have offered the barn to a fellow I have come to know
well here on the forum. :)

Maybe we can get BillyK to join us and try out this camping thing

20 days to go - Who's bring what to the Pot Luck?

Kurt - slow cooked roast, potatoes, onions
Rick & Leona - Brats and Cheese Grillers

Option for those who are too full from going to Triple XXX. - just come and enjoy the desserts.

I hope someone brings desserts

I will propbably do both.

The traditional Friday night "wine and Cheese" is a go for this gathering.

Is anyone up for a 50/50 drawing??

If so, I'll need to get some "tickets". Anyone have tickets?

So far the schedule is very relaxed:

Thursday- meet other campers (if you arrive on Thursday)

Friday night (5:00pm) - Wine and Cheese party
This is a great way to meet and get to know everyone and share some stories , etc.

Saturday - Lunch at Triple XXX (optional)

Saturday (6:00pm) - Pitch in dinner

Saturday night Movie (when it's dark enough)

Sunday - no group breakfast planned. Small groups may organize a breakfast over the weekend.

I thought Rick & I would bring Brats and Cheese Grillers again to the dinner. They seem to go pretty well everytime. Unless everyone is tired of them or has a better suggestion. Rick thought we should try something different.

Let us know.

Depending on what we find at the market, we will contribute a vegetable salad or fresh veggies plus a fresh fruit salad for the dessert table.

I'm hoping that the expectation isn't that everything has to be prepared in a dutch oven or over the campfire..??

How does a 50/50 work?

If the temps are gonna be real cool I will provide either a stew or a big pot of chilli and may see if I can master the rootbeer cobbler for my Dutch oven fix.

Last fall it was "Black Bottom Rootbeer cobbler" Nothing a good sharp knife couldn't fix.
