Just got home from Vegas last night. The good news is I didn't lose, much. Other good news is The Colts won! Bad new is I didn't see much of the game.

Looks like we will have a good group for the campout.
Jim

I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

220 Kurt

221 JohnfromIndy

222 Jim (Tripmaker)

223- Dan & Laura

224 Luckey

225 Scott

226 Earl

227 Scott's Brother

Tentative dinner plans:

I can see a small feast in the making:

Breakfast Saturday: Waffles and sausage/bacon, eggs
Breakfast Sunday: Bisuits and Gravy, scrambled eggs

Hot Coffee and Juice.

Late campfire dinner:
Friday Fire Pie night -
Sour Dough cheese and salami/ham pies, Brats & Dogs in the irons, grilled cheese w/ tomato (yum)
Desert: Smores in the fire irons.

We could even do Grilled or DO pizza.

Saturday campfire dinner: Ham/Bean soup, corn bread, hot dogs, etc.

Wash this all down with your favorite beverage.

Anything goes for campfire dinners. Scott's desert in the DO sounds really good too.

Don't worry Scott.

This past weekend, my camping neighbor made buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy in my DO over a wood fire. Unbelievable taste .

Scott, if it doesn't work out and sticks a little, just wash it out (no soap) or boil it out and reseason.

Once you get the hang of it it's not too hard. Remember, the pioneers (all college grads) made it across the USA with these things as their sole cooking utensile. So did Lewis and Clark. It can't be that hard. It just takes experience.

:(
Sorry to hear about ur teardrop Scott, I had to do that before this camping season. It just about made me cry, I left it outside through the winter. When I brought it inside the garage it took me like 3 weeks before I could work on it. I just sat there and stared at it.....so I do know what ur going through man. Our teardrop has kinda been "under construction" since I began to build it....lol :R We keep wanting to build others to sell, but I can't quit working on ours...lol I guess that's a good thing. Alot of the time when we go camping I just sit there and think about stuff we can do to make it better. We have so many plans for ours. I need to figure this scanner out so I can post pictures of all of us and the drop. You guys have no idea how much we are looking forward to going in Oct. But I think that I'm more excited!!!!!!!!!!! Everything is looking like it's in order, if there is anything special that we can make or bring just let us know, other than that we'll bring the basics. I was at work today and couldn't quit thinking about how wonderful the weather was today to go camping. Well everyone have a good night.
Jarred and Misty

Keep on droppin!

Jarred and/or Misty
It's all good, I work well under pressure. I had no doors 3 days before Turkey Run in May. Was putting windows in the doors 3 day before Minden in June.
If I didn't have something to do on it before a trip it wouldn't feel right

But I'll be there with the Rolling Stone and my whole family in tow.
Well maybe I'll let them ride up front, we'll have to see how the kids are acting
