I'm not as young as I used to be, but I can not remember a March in which by now I could at least sense the end of winter. Last year we had already hit the 70s by now and the average temperature should be in the 40s. Today we may get 3 more inches of the white fluffy stuff and I will probably need to get the snow blower out to get rid of it. In past Marchs I have merely waited a day to see it melt. I'm afraid that if I don't snow blow this it will be on my driveway forever. At any moment I expect to look to the north and see a mile high glacier moving this way. Amazing weather. I can't wait for it to end.

:worship:

Update; Just watched the news. This date one year ago in Milwaukee the temperature was 79 degrees.

I was thinking the same thing. I know living in Wisconsin you can never expect the normal for weather but this snow needs to pack up and move out of here. Because it is getting old real quick.

The way things are going, you will have 6 inches of snow fall the CNTL weekend.

Tim,

That doesn't worry me as much as the following weekend I will be camping with you a 100 miles north of St. Paul/Minneapolis. I have never carried a snow shovel as standard tear drop equipment before. At least at Cooler we have that great shelter which is heated so we will not be trapped in our trailers.

I'm starting to see some grass in my yard. I might not have to bring the snowblower after all! :R

Four weeks and we will be camping.

I keep my Tear up in Wild Rose in a nice cozy garage at our lake home. We are heading up there on Wednesday to get it. Got some things to do before I climb in to sleep. My son-in-law was there last night and said I only have about 4 inches of snow and two inches of ice that I will have to deal with. Took off the snow tires on my tow last night so I am ready for spring, but is spring ready for me?

If you haven't had a chance to visit the food thread :picnic: you might want to go over :campfire: there and look things over. :Flippin Burger:

It's almost April and I still can't find a supplier of Haggis. I'll have to start thinking about something else for dinner.

Tom,

I'm looking for my favorite lutefisk recipe right now. It should go great with haggis. If I can't find it I'm thinking of falling back on either escargot or pickled herring. Yummy! :?

That is a fine plan, as long as we do not have to eat it!

Hey everybody just getting caught up on the thread. Finally seeing some grass is making too think of camping. Can't wait to see everyone and geocache again! Finally got some great news......I finally found a new job! I will tell you all about it at CNTL. Been a long haul, but the light at the end of the tunnel is finally here. Having happy warm spring thoughts!
