Wisconsin teardrop gathering

Postby Cary Winch » Thu Sep 23, 2004 10:47 pm

This is a last minute call for teardroppers in the Wisconsin area. We are putting on a small gathering Saturday october 2nd. This is very last minute I realize. Our employees have been after us to have a teardrop camp out all summer and they finally said that if we didn't do it they would just not show up to work and go themselves. Hmmm.

It is at Castle Rock county park btween Mauston and Necedah Wisonsin on Castle Rock lake. We have a block of sites reserved right on the lake.

So far it is just four teardrops from Camp-Inn but I have invited customers in our area to come too. Everybody is welcome however.

If interested let me know by email at [email protected] .

Hi all,

We just got back. Great campout. We had 5 tears there, mostly our own, but still a nice little group.

Weather was cool but pleasant, We pretty much had the park to ourselves. The highlight was a Crawfish boil and making homemade icecream for desert. The ice cream was for over the peach cobbler made in a dutch over in the fire.

We will be posting pictures for everyone on our site. Stay tuned.

Ha ha! What a hoot Cary! Never saw such huge vehicles pulling a tear... oops make that 2 tears.

My wife loved the embroidered t-towels.

I feel out of place... seems everyone that owns a tear own a huge dutch oven but us.

Thanks for sharing!

I knew we would take some flak about the trucks. We had a good laugh about it while taking the picture. Worse yet my big Ford in the picture is a diesel, serious overkill. That is comical I know, but I had no choice my wife wouldn't let me have the car because she was coming out later.

We sure get looks when we pull units double like that. Sort of the centipede thing.

That was my first experiance with the dutch oven too. Craig's wife Betsey is the master with that thing (all forms of cooking too as far as I can tell). Sure was a good cobbler.
