The time approaches . . . Anybody else wanna hook up at Hocking Hills in July? The dates again are the nights of July 15th through 18th. We welcome one and all to join us. War Pony and Greg and Robyn, we'll be thinking of you while we're there. Hope to see some of y'all, if only for a visit. From there, we're heading to Erie, then Niagara Falls - Canadian side, eh? :ilovecamp:

Tim, is that Coleman "ice box" in your TD?

I found one two years ago at a flea market for $5.00. It's been a great refigerator for me. People look at and then realize it's not electric.

BTW, good lookin' Teardrop. :applause:

Rick -

All the campsites around the #42 area back up to trees. The campsites themselves are open, but there is shade. Sites 65-70 on the loop have a few more trees, so that might be an option for you. I have not been to the non-electrics, #81-93. The park personnel are very knowledgable and friendly. They may be able to give you some direction there. The number for them is (740) 385-6842. Hope that helps.

Rick -

If you look at the very first picture in our album, you will see what is fairly representative of the campsites in the area.

War Pony -

Hope you enjoy that trip. Sorry we're gonna miss you. I used to backpack in the Red River Gorge every other weekend or so when I lived in Louisville. What a place of wonder. Be safe and post lots of pictures when you get back from that one! Happy camping.
