Sorry to mess things up for you and Cary's family. We must have been on the reservations site at the same time.

Oh heavens! No, no, no, no! It would take a lot more than that to mess things up!

In fact we all seem to function in a state of continual chaos. You should know that by now. (Hmm...you sure you want to camp next to us? It might rub off....) :o

By the way, the reservation site wouldn't let me reserve another campsite anyways, cuz you can only have 1 per account for the same dates. So you got ithe site fair and square.

Looks like it's gonna be another great gathering!

Duke Thanks for posting the map!
Can you add Lori, kayaklover to site #14.

I wonder what is involved with obtaining use of the shelter between #13 and #15 for the Saturday Potluck?

Lori (kayaklover) this site has been used by other gatherings and there is I was happy with what I ordered from them for the Turkey Run Gathering.

Duke maybe you can upload the official CNTL2 logo you designed and we can order individually what we desire from the site.

Good morning, this is going to be great. To answer a few questions, Claw, yes you can see the lake from the campground, at least from some of the sites.
The shelter costs $100. Now like I said I checked the weather and it is supposed to be nice that weekend but we all know how the weather man lies to us. With just a few more teardrops it would only be about 5 bucks each site. I would vote yes.
How many waffle irons do we have between us, are we thinking of something along those lines? If we had the shelter for the whole day it could work. Also are we going to investigate how many ways their are to make coffee?

i'll donate towards the shelter! probably good to reserve it to insure we have it. but with all of us on that loop, and being early in the season, we can probably just use it anyway. probably no organized events there in april. but to be sure, 5 or 10 bucks is not big deal... it's worth the peace of mind.

let me know if there is anything i can do?

OK, here's to info on the shelter.

It does cost $100 to reserve, it is open to the public if unreserved, there is another room that goes with it if reserved. I have not seen it reserved a great deal of the time, that's not saying it could be that weekend. It is not as of now. If we reserve it we have it for all day, breakfast till night. The pictures and info are from about an hour ago. (I'm just sittin home suffering from kidney stones anyway). I also have pictures of every site except 4 and 5 if anyone wants to see where we will be just PM me.

A few other thoughts. sites that also would be OK are 87, 88, 103. They enter from the other section but are back to back with the sites most are in. Unexcepible sites would be 39, 40, 41 and 42, because they are out on the main road and mostly attract large motorhomes.

I think we should reserve the shelter. We'll be happy to kick in for it.

Being that we will have more direct wind exposure from the Lake this time(where the temps are always colder than inland) and it being the end of April with the possibility of "iffy" weather, it would be nice to have a place to hang out, come and go throughout the day and stay warm and dry "just in case." The fireplace is a nice bonus. And if there are no lights, we can bring lanterns/lamps (looks as though there are electrical outlets). I'm just remembering the dampness and chill of last year.
