Mississinewa Oct 5-7, 2007

Cindi & I had a great time at Turkey Run and look foward to doing it again. There was some discussion about a fall camp out and I have a suggestion. There is an 1812 battle re-enactment at Mississinewa that may be of interest to some. Here is a link to a web page about it. http://www.mississinewa1812.com/ Camping would be at Mississinewa Lake which is about 15 miles west of the re-enactment area. This is a popular event and the campground fills up fast. Anyone interested?

I just checked availability and it looks like there are plenty of camp sites. I suggest we check the dates with our better halves and start making reservations if it works for you guys.

Thanks, Looks nice I'll have to study it better later when I have more time.
looking forward to seeing your tear. Maybe mine will have cabinets by then

Putting windows in this weekend it's about the only thing I've done since Turkey Run. I've been taking a break. Just a few things to do before Minden then I can slow down and concentrate on trim

The re-enactment is about 10 miles from the campground. Campground is on the west end of the lake and the battlefield area is on the east end. I have not watched the re-enactment but it's neat to see the re-enactors camps, equipment, and costumes. Lots of food vendors and other stuff for sale that will be of interest for the women. What's in your wallet?
