Hey guys , sounds like your all ready for the gathering. I wish i could make it. I have been so busy at work with the weather the way it's been. For some reason people want heat this time of year....go figure.... !! Looks like ya'll will need some glade spray for the nights withh all the chilli that's gonna be there. If all goes well for ya, i'm gonna make it next year if there is one. Make sure there are plenty of picks, i can't wait to see the small wood stove. it's something to think about. with all this talk about heaters i've been brainstorming about maybe a heatpump for the tear. if it wasn't so far down and the weather would be better i'd drive down and see ya....nah if i was coming to see ya, i'd join ya with the " Irish Inn" .we think we're gonna call the drop that. everything in it is notre dame, but i'll make up my mind before spring. We'll guys, if i don't talk to ya soon have a great time and take plenty of pics. Good Luck

My wife and I drove through Brown County yesterday on our way home from Louisville.
It looked very pretty, and it was tempting to rush home and get the trailer, but it was just too cold!

Hope you all have a great time, see you in the Spring. :relaxing:

Rob

PS. The salt and ice melting chemicals they've applied to the roads should be washed off any aluminum sided trailers as soon as you get home, as it will etch the metal if allowed to linger...

Where's Dan he's got the fire wood . Hell it's still gonna be above zero.
Not to mention everybody's watching to see if we are really this crazy.
Chili is ready , my trailer lights are fixed ( The results look like an explosion in a spaghetti factory but everything blinks right. ) Were packing. Everybody chime in if I show up with old whats her name and we are the only ones there I will never hear the end of it.

Dan Dan where are you ??????

I should probably check the lights, I will after the boys go to bed

Dan said in a pm last night he'd be off here most of the day but he'll be there, and I got his cell so if he's not we'll prank call him all night

I'm not going to make the winter camping trip, way to cold for a tent. I really need to get in gear and start that teardrop. Have fun and don't freeze.

Can't say's I blame you. There's no way I'd try it in a tent ether.
Spring will be here soon enough. You should plan on Browncounty in May
Tent would be fine if the Tear isn't campable yet.

Camping and checking out teardrops.

I really wanted to take a look at some teardrops, and get some input on my plans. I've only seen a Lil' Guy tear drop, so, just going on what I find on internet. Kinda making my plans up as I can, and changing them everytime I work on them. So, was planning on checking out other teardrops and finalizing my plans. Dang, weather.

I started mine 2 months before I found this site. You'll get about all the info you could want on here.

I know all about building without plans and changing, I built my entire tear with no plans. That's generally how I work
I'm still changing things and have more ideas for change, I don't think I'll ever be done if I keep getting on this forum :?

Well I'm headed out to plastic the inside of my drafty windows.

Somebody bring popsicle sticks for our frozen chili on a stick and coffee freezie pops. We couldn't pass up that photo op could we ? We will have the chili warmed up this am so we can reheat it up for lunch quickly.

Being on central time---I just woke up. Packed and hooked--and yes the taillights do work. The way I figure it--if I leave by 7:30 CST I should be there by 12:00 CST. I only have to gotta make coffee, walk the dog and get gas.

Got one question it being so warm for a January outing--do you think I should bring the ice cream maker? I got room.
