Hi Erik,
I live north of Rockford,IL, welcome to the forum.
There is a number of folks from Chicagoland with TD. There was a small gathering out at Shabanno Lake SP south of Dekalb a couple months ago and one in the spring will be held up by Sheboygan, WI right on the Lake the last weekend in April.
Do you have a TD or are you looking to build one?

Hello!
I know bartlett well. grew up there, and my folks still live there.
grew up across from apple orchard in the subdivision back there.
they now live in town off of devon.

Hello everybody. My name is Paul and I am also new to the forum. My wife Nancy and I live in Tinley Park, IL just southwest of Chicago. I'm in the process of building my first Teardrop. Having never seen one in person it has been a bit of a challenge. However, I am having a great time working on it and look forward to getting out in the spring when camping season starts around here. After visiting every site I can find and reading the forum postings I am still wondering if we can join an organized teardrop club in the area or does everyone just show up at the meets an outings as they are posted? Please enlighten me.

Welcome Paul, as far as the gatherings go any body's welcome just jump in and have fun. We've got some real good gatherings planned in Indiana this year. check out the thread about our gatherings.
As far as the organized teardrop groups we have the new Chapter here in the Hoosier state.
What type of tear are you working on? Any pics as you've seen the people on here love the pics, myself included.
Look forward to meeting you at a future gathering.
