Teardrop is out of storage

Well, I bit the bullet and tried to get the teardrop out of it's winter storage place this evening. I was waiting for drier weather before I tried to pull it across the wet , soft grass and around the house to the driveway.

I almost got the lawn tractor stuck (it was very close) in the soft and wet grass that is just outside the storage area as I dragged the tear across out but, luckily, I made it through with out bogging down in the mud. :D

The reason that I got it out this early is this:

On March 30, I will head to Madison campground to stay over (2 nights) for the opening of the campground registration on April 1. It is a first come / first served reservation and I need to be there "in person" to get our sites reserved for the August gathering.

The weather doesn't look very good but I'll be there to get in line for the reservation system. (kind of like ticket master with a camper)

This should be a fun trip (which I've done before to get a reservation) and I'll let you know how it works out.

Pray for decent weather. :worship:

Which is more than I can say for us at this point... :(

Thank you Kurt for taking care of us so well. The Aug. gathering on the river will be one to remember (as if all of them aren't) I'm so looking forward to the Balloons and BBQ Mmmmm

Have fun and don't forget the camera so we can see the campground first hand.

Wow! I'm impress Kurt! We still have 10foot snowbanks around here and the side streets are REALLY narrow still, and still snow on the roads. Little sign of warm weather to melt any of this. Will likely have snow through the end of April this year. We are moving in 2 weeks and there is no way I can get the tear out of the 'tear shed' with all the snow.

Enjoy April 1st camping!

Kurt, You're the man! I didn't know you had to go to all that trouble for us but thank you. :applause: :applause: :applause: If it wasn't during the week and tax season I would be tempted to join you for an early camp out. I moved my Miata out of the barn about 2 weeks ago while the ground was still frozen. Maybe I should have done the same for the TD.
