I guess that would make too much sense!! I will do it tomorrow!!

I may have to build another TD next winter for the occasion!!

Wow looks like there are a lot of sites already booked that are not from our tear drop group. Makes you wonder if the regulars got wind of an invading bunch and booked their sites a year ahead also.

My bad, Dianne I was zipping thru the posts and wrote the wrong number down. I got the diagram correct though. I'll fix it. What was wrong with site # 39??? Haunted, or too close to Elmo ???

I don't mind Elmo...makes me feel like I am at work.
No, I was on #39 with a tent and the wind blew so had it split the poles on my tent, sooo...I slept the wekend in my truck cab with my dogs. Jim and Lori duct taped it back together, but I could not get it to stand good. And then Betsy and Craig let me stay on their site Saturday night.
The worker said that I was camped on the windiest corner in the park...just perfect for a tent in a storm...

Well, we have site 20 again and looking forward to all the snow that gets piled on that site to put out fires where one does not want them to burn.

I can't believe we are all ready planning this one again. We had so much fun at CNTL 2. We are sure glad we have discovered this group. We were camping yesterday and talking about Tom as we ate our waffles and wondering if we would have an email when we got home. Sure enough there was and it was about CNTL 3, so we made our reservation right away.

Happy camping til the next time we see you all! :D :D :D

I don't wish to cut anyone out, nor hijack a thread, but I wish to take advantage of the positives in my life. It was great seeing and associating with all the new people I met at "Cooler by the Lake 2" and it is such a long time to next May.

One of the positives in my life was my ability to retire in my mid 50s. During the summer getting a group of camping spots, on a weekend, can be nearly impossible. My kids are in there early 20s and having weekends free to be with them is important to me. That now leaves the middle of the week free when camping spots are easier to access.

If there are any of you whose lives contains similar positives (retired or with the ability to change work schedules), and who also don't want to wait 11 months, I am open to suggestions.

My wife and I are heading for Devil's Lake this next week. 2/3s of the sites are open Tuesday and Wednesday night. To save reservation fees we are just going to show up and find a good place to stay with access to some really great trails.
