The shelter with its fireplace really made for a great spot to gather.

Hey...count us in. It was nice to gather inside out of the wind and rain. Looking forward to spring and seeing everyone again. ;)

The shelter worked beautifully last year; go for it again this year.

By the way we have been working on our snow removal skills in preparation for the snow dump on site 20. We are approaching 50 inches here in Rockford, MI.

Seasons' Greetings! to all our Tear Drop Friends! :)

  Go for it. Made a great meeting place. Maybe this year we can get some games going too!
At the rate we are going this year with the white stuff we may have to pack the snowblower too!

On new years day I went to check on the sites for the gathering and found something quite disturbing on one of the sites. I don't now what to say or how to explain it, so I will just show the pictures I took and you can judge for your self.

The shelter is now ours. I went yesterday and rented it. No bad weather worries for us. I hope those goof balls from Indiana that are going camping next weekend don't find out. They will call us names for being such wimps. ;)

Looking forward to any weather that does not have wind chill factors of -20 or -30 below 0.

Gary

And yes, loved being able to socialize in the shelter. It was very nice last year.
