I have been watching the weather for Prairie du Chien, WI and it has been improving all week for this coming weekend. A chance of rain now for only Sunday into Monday. I need a weekend without rain already.

Jim,

I like your forecast better than the one I'm getting...the NOAA forecast for Prairie du Chien is still showing chance of rain...30% Friday, 20% Friday night and 30% for Saturday.... :(

Let's just keep thinking positively!

And Tom and Lori, that doesn't mean you are positive it's gonna rain!

That means we have a 70 and 80 percent chance of it being sunny.
I like those odds. :applause: :applause: :applause:

What ? No snow ?

Well things have settled down a bit after arriving home from a great weekend at Wyalusing State Park. I am glad Tina and Jerry suggested this great spot to camp. The weather was good, the company great, the food fine and the park rangers friendly ;) But the views had to be one of the best on the Mississippi River. With the confluence of the Wisconsin River these bluffs provided a great spot to look down on airplanes and eagles alike. Parnell and I saw a pair of bald eagles soaring Sunday afternoon! Lori took this picture, it really impressed me and starts to capture some of the grandeur of the area in the morning.

Wish I could have been there, but oh well.
I SHOULD be working on my paper that is due in two days  instead of being on the board, but where is the fun in not having to rush it even more...

Glad you guys had fun.

This is what it's all about folks. Good food, good friends, sometimes boisterous conversation, and a great park to gather in. I had a wonderful weekend, with some very good friends. Thanks to all.

Why does Lori have a scowl on her face? Didn't like the food?

She loved the food and the company, she just hates pictures. This is why...

Yeah, and I kinda noticed that everyone but one person is looking at the camera. Then there is someone that is blowing the whole thing off.....

Sorry, we missed this one we had to be in NYC our son graduated from NYU. His Master's in Public Administration Finance, but this was on his nickel. A proud moment for a mama & a papa to see your child out on his own and in charge of his life. There is always other time for camping.
