I'm only "half" nuts. I'll take videos so I can post them on Youtube.

I'll post a link on the forum so the "others" can have a good laugh.

Hi all, well it looks like Jan and I are stuck here in Medina. It has snowed everyday this week and is still snowing a little right now. Between the snow shovel and the plow truck I haven't got much sleep this week. Have to keep my people safe and warm. The snow total for the week so far is 18 ins. I posted a pic in my album of the Sunday snow fall, have to put a new one in for the total this week. Some times I dont like being in the secondary snow belt, ha. You all have a great time. Maybe I can get you all to do one in Feb. with us. I will be in the tear Friday night even if it is in the back yard. Best wishes, be safe and have fun. Will be with you in spirit. Erv and Jan

 Fully understand Erv better safe than sorry. I'm sure we'll meet up at a future gathering. Generally all it takes is to post on here and say where you'll be and you're sure to have someone free to camp that weekend.

BOB, do you still have a couple chunks of left over skylight for me? :worship:

It's looking (more than likely) like an early Saturday am arrival for me now. My Buddy from work has a Fort Wayne rout and won't be able to leave till later. I really wanted to get out before Rush hour and defiantly before dark. I may make it tonight but I can't make any promises.

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.

OK, I'll just plan on a morning arrival myself. Probably best for everyone, today a high of 6, tomorrow a high of 26. Big difference, -13 right now.

See you all tomorrow

GOOD THINKIN' MAN

2 night in that cold didn't sound like a lot of fun. I was worrying about ya.

I e-mailed FOX 59 this am they wanted wierd ways to stay warm. Well a teardrop or tiny trailer is a wierd way to stay warm so I invited them down. I am sure it will be another no show but what the hell.

I plan to call the park today to make sure the campground is plowed out and accessable. I got busy yesterday and completely forgot to call. I still have to blow out a path to my barn to get the TD out. I'm hoping for a Saturday morning departure. It's -16 here this morning. Saturday should be downright balmy with a 35 degree increase in temperature. 8) Who would consider 20 degrees warm? But by comparison to today it will be.

UPDATE

Jeff is setting in a Penske truck center with a gelled up semi and a route to finish that was never started so his day is shot in the butt. He will see us in the AM also. He called me and I thought I had better pass it on.

Looks like a 2 day 1 night outing ike last year. Maybe we have learned a lesson. shivarees should be one night.

KURT if you have contacts for jarred and Misty perhaps we should let them know I think they were planning a Friday arrival and I don't think they are privy to a computer yet.

( I think I hear laughter emminating form Wisconsin ) :scratchthinking:

Bob, I sent a PM and I called Dan Sutton to see if he had a phone number for Jarred.
If we can contact him, I'll feel better.

HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!

I just called Mounds SP and the campground is closed. She said there is 5 - 6 inches of snow on the ground and the campground is not accessable. :(

Now what boys and girls?

I talked to Scott and Jarred and they are aware of the problem. Now , I hope Bob and Jeff and Dan are watching the forum so they get the message.

We need to get all of each other's phone numbers. We'll work on that.
