Campground Selection At Brown County?

Postby jambie » Mon Oct 20, 2008 2:09 pm

We're contemplating a visit to Brown County SP on Halloween weekend, but I'm not sure about which campground to reserve a site in. Buffalo Ridge is full, but there are a number of sites at Raccoon and Taylor. Any suggestions? Raccoon Ridge seems smaller, which we'd prefer..

Neither of us has ever been there, so advice would be welcome.

Cheers,
Tom

We've camped in the Raccoon Ridge section a couple of times. I really can't say I've seen the other to sections. But the park is beautiful and I think you'll be pleased with what ever site you take.

Hang on a bit and I'm sure someone will be along with the answer to what the sections are like. We had 33 campers there in May and surely some of them ventured into the other camping areas to check them out.

Keep us posted and have fun
