Scott, I have a "Teardrop" napkin holder that Dan Sutton gave me at one of the gatherings. I could put the logo sticker and the URL on it.

That's one.

Here is a link to show the geocaches that are around the area of the campout in May. There are about 13 caches in the immediate area.
Geocaches

I have been Geocaching for over 5 years and would be more then happy to answer any questions anyone might have. I enjoy taking my teardrop to most of the Geocaching campouts that I attend. The most asked question is, Do you really sleep in that?.

I will try and make it down for the day on Saturday the 16th. Which is my wife's birthday as well as my wedding anniversary, so you can see why I say "try"

button button who has a button

Postby bobhenry » Wed Feb 04, 2009 7:08 am

Thought I would put this idea where it belongs. I got excited and hijacked the chain o' lakes thread with my button idea.

Scott is our souvenir button maker. For a small donation he will put us together a small trophy of our camping experiences.

For those of you who have not camped at racoon lake you better bolt down EVERYTHING for the little nocturnal bandits WILL be out.

Don't get too carried away. Some of the caches are the size of a band-aid box or smaller.

I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

I'm not, I was just thinking of caches for the day for our group to find.

I've been looking on the geocache site, pretty neat. I see a lot are film canisters. There's one just down the road less than a 1/2 mile from my house.

Erv/Jan, glad to hear that you are coming. We always enjoy meeting new friends in the Teardrop world.

We're finally getting a little warmer and it should last a few days before we go back to freezing.

Every week down means one week closer to spring (and our first gathering of 2009)

Yep it's across from the playground I can send the boys over and just set in my chair by the camper and watch them
