We gotta give Jim credit for the sausage gravy at the shivaree

ummmm ummmm good

I am seriously thinking about towing with the Goldwing and dragging My 5x3 motorcycle trailer to the Chain o' Lakes event. A pop up and an air bed and the usual camping junk would be all we really need and it is so hot at the summer meet that the lexan top is a real PITA .

That would , then be the ENTIRE fleet then

Biob,
Hmmm...Do we really allow pop-ups at a teardrop event?? You better get one of the campsites a little further away. :) Oh wait. Not too far or else it will be too long of a walk for me to get my breakfast from you and Vicky every morning.
Hey, whatever you bring is fine as long as you are there, right?
And yes, Jim made quite the sausage gravy at the Winter Shiveree. Man was it good on Vickie's biscuits!

And furthermore we don't care who ya are or what ya got as long as you come to have fun.

A ratty tent ~ sleep in the car ~ everyone is welcome. We have been known to even let folks from Detroit in

No way! People from the Detroit area are let in too? As Groucho Marx liked to say, "I would never belong to any club that would have me as a member". So, maybe I shouldn't show up at Chain O Lakes!

Hey Scott,
Since you are keeping track of things, please note that I reserved site 121. I'm getting there on Wednesday, the 29th and will stay through Sunday afternoon.

 Looked at the dates for that weekend for Thursday night there is all ready 16 sites booked, I can only assume as of now that they are booked for the weekend also.
We've also got One booked with our group.

Booking for the Friday and Saturday night is about to open up, don't wait to long. Be sure and let me know what sites you get as you get them.

Scott,

The Indiana State Park website says, "Cancellations made up to close of business the day prior to the scheduled arrival date will result in a $10 cancellation fee per reservation". Unless there was some other fine print I missed, even if people are unsure about their summer schedule, they should just go ahead and make a reservation ASAP and take a chance that they will blow a $10 cancellation fee if they change their mind down the road. Otherwise, if they wait to make their reservation, they may possibly not get into the same area where the rest of us are.

Just a thought.

Hopefully, Terarjerkers who have already made their reservations will contact you with their site numbers. I'm guessing I'm not the only one to be heading there a little early.
