One week to go!!!!

For those who want to bring wine (or beers) for the Wine tasting on Friday evening;
Please bring some small glasses for the tasting. If everyone has one (or two) for themselves, that should be enough.

I'm all packed up and ready to go. 8)

Chain of Lakes

Postby wavi » Fri Jul 24, 2009 11:21 am

Hi,
We are getting very excited about our first Teardrop gathering!

I have looked back at some of the postings and have not been able to clearly sort out the schedule for the weekend.... I was hoping someone could clarify things for me?

Wine/beer tasting on Friday? (Bill makes beer!)
potluck? movie?
anything else we should know/bring?

Thanks,
Vicki and Bill

Potluck Sat evening usually about 6:00 movie Sat evening about dusk.

That's normally all that's planned to allow plenty of free time for people to visit and enjoy the things the park has to offer.
None of the activities are mandatory but I sure wouldn't miss the pitch in cause it seems to get better every time with more good food than you can imagine in one place

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.

And it won't until Kurt says so! ;) You know the drill!

Hey Bob, I just looked at the link and it says 30%; I ride my bike to work (without rainsuit) when they say 30% so no worries.

Maybe I shouldn't have said that. Heck, I have a new side porch and am a diver so bring it on! :D

Menu addition. Yesterday I smoked a pork butt for 12 hours. We pulled it last night (I can see now I will be the butt of a joke about pulling my pork  ) and it just fell apart. I have a vinegar/mustard based sauce made up for it and will bring buns and a North Carolina style cole slaw to put on top. Guess we could call it "Buns & Butt" :D
