wine

Postby tjx » Sun Aug 30, 2009 3:57 pm

We just returned home from the local vineyard in Hanover, Illinois ....

I bought a few bottles of wine for the gathering.
Hummm...now just what one or two to bring. They were all
so good.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. It's been a busy summer and
now looking forward to relaxing with friends.

Tom

I did some checking around and located it through Cabelas. Thanks again.

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.

Jeff:
Mine came with a nice zippered carrying case too! I think you'll like it, it's a nice table for behind the galley.

We were wondering if anyone was interested in having social hour on Friday night....not that we wouldn't anyways...but have those who want bring a bottle of wine representing your area or some special brews from your area, along with an appetizer or two . . .

Count me and the Dog in for (eating) appetizers !! Probably some exotic French Hare/Canadian Goose Pâté and organic multigrain cracker snack or something similar . . .

camp

Postby tjx » Tue Sep 08, 2009 6:45 pm

Diane,

not that I've heard of....when I just checked it is still reserved but that doesn't mean when you looked it wasn't.

Let's hope they can still make it or else make it to Camp Inn-camp outt.
It's been since April that I've seen them.

It probably was . . . At Colder Near The Lake 3, I remember Jack and Nancy saying how much they loved camping but hated being away from their pet chipmunks "Spike" and "Brutus" . . . Jack was especially teary eyed reminiscing about some of the crazy antics "Spike" would do with the hamster wheel and the water bottle . . .

It wasn't right for Dianne to suggest you post the "you-know-what on a stick" comment . . . what was she thinking !!!!
