We will be heading out Sunday (tomorrow) morning the 26th for a couple nights at O'bannon Woods, near Corydon IN.

If anyone is in the area or wants an impromptu trip, stop in. You will not be able to miss us, as I am guessing we will be the only TD there!!

Cheers, Terry & Lisa

Terry, please take notes and pictures if you can.

Check to see what you think about a possible gathering site for approx 30 teardrops for the future.

Thanks

Kurt, I could check the campground out just about any time as it is close to me. there are things to do in the area also. Cave country canoes runs canoeing trips on the blue river which is right outside the park. The park also has a very nice pool with 2 awesome water slides, a restored hay press that was moved to the park and reassembled, hiking and horse trails all through the park also. The first state capitol (Corydon) is nearby with many shoppes and the first state capitol building. Leavenworth is also nearby with the historic Overlook restaurant that sits atop a high vista with a view of the great horseshoe bend on the Ohio river.
If I can help in any way it would be my pleasure. It would be great to have a gathering down this way..

Thanks Mark, anything you can contribute would be great. You know what makes a good gathering site and it sounds like this might be a good one for next year.

I'll try to get down and take some pics and look for a good group area. It's been a while since I have been in the campground. The fact that they have a heated shower house open year round would make it a good shiveree candidate. There is also the Horseshoe casino upstream on the Ohio if it was too cold.

I have reservations for the 4th of July weekend in O'Bannon Woods.
Although I will not be in the teardrop (whole family coming along) I too will evaluate it for a future gathering.
