She says a big pot of ham and beans on the tripod over the fire and corn bread in the D.O. I have a truck bed full of small wood already loaded ! Any one got some big ugly logs to go with them.

Jeff is on the fence so everybody razz him into it ! :lol:

Trust me don't over do it thinking you'll need the heat I've used a little plastic $9 heater from Walmart the last 2 years and it sweated me out of my oversize teardrop. :sweaty:

Yes, you certainly don't need a blast furnace in your trailer...only a small heater most likely.
While I bought a heater shortly after January's Shiveree, I survived that cold, sub-zero Saturday night without a heater in my brand new Little Guy 6-wide. Sure, I was getting annoyed (with myself that I didn't have a heater) as the day dragged on and I listened to some of my fellow campers complain that they turned up their heaters too high and that it was 80+ degrees in their trailer ... and I'm thinking I am going to be totally frozen in the morning. Yes, I had a little bit of frost on the inside of my windows the next morning but I easily survived the night. I slept in my +5 degree-rated sleeping bag and had a one of those head wraps that only exposed part of my face ... plus I wore a hoodie on top of a couple t-shirts to keep my shoulders warm. I slept fairly comfortably, amazingly enough. But this year, I will hopefully be one of those people whose trailer gets too hot from their heater. Must be getting old!

And that was my very first adventure into the world of teardrop camping... and my first introduction to a very, very nice group of people whom I now refer to as my friends.

Yep small walley world heater is all I use to heat my giant tear and I end up to hot.

Just can't see Amy joining me she says it's cause there would be no one to watch the boys :lol:

Hmmm,... Well Maybe,... Long weekend,... Got Monday off.... We'll see. Even dear wife says she might be game. I'm still going to wait to see what the weather is like............

There's no such thing as cheating you can come in what ever you want and sleep in what ever you want. My brother brought his pop up last year. Just come and enjoy the fun.

I think I will make another virgin batch of apple pie and bring a crock pot . It is great hot and you can add your own poison

We are planning a big pot of beans with lots of ham hocks and some raw onions ready to toss on top if desired. I am gonna do pan fried corn bread on the cast iron griddle. I love the strange look folks give ya when you hand them corn bread disguised as a pancake. Yes you CAN fry cornbread and no you don't have to bake it.
