:( OK taking the boys to the Dr today we've all been fighting some kind of bug since before New Year. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.
I'm just hoping I can shake it before then :worship: haven't been able to so far in 2 weeks.

Don't feel like the lone stranger. You have heard me bitchin'

I just have the damnedest nagging cough. My chest muscles hurt from coughing.

I have felt great the last 2 days except the stupid cough just can't shake it.

Forget laying down to sleep I would choke to death. So the dogs and I hop in the recliner and sleep setting up. Oh well my lap and legs stay warm.

But I'll be there next week come hell or high uh~~~ uh~~~~ snow drifts. :snowstorm:

I have a 10' x 20' EZ-up but I didn't buy any side walls for it like I did for my 12' x 12'. I could bring the 10' x 20' canopy but we've have to put tarps up for the sides...and I'm not sure how well that would work. I also have a 20K BTU Zodi tent heater I could bring.
Comments from anyone?

Now that we are getting closer to the dates...

I'm planning on getting there early-to-mid afternoon on Friday but I wanted to first see if anyone else might show up on Friday??? :shake hands: As much as I enjoy my own company, I would prefer not to drive 4 hours down there from Michigan on Friday only to find that no one else will show up until Saturday. :crying2: Putting aside family emergencies or a once-in-a-century blizzard, how many of you are definitely going to show up on Friday (and roughly what time)? And, how many of you may possibly show up on Friday (and roughly what time)? Lastly, how many of you are definitely not arriving until Saturday?

Last year, I missed the forum post that the location had been moved. :scratchthinking: Imagine how happy I was to drive through a blizzard and find the darn campgrounds closed. :laughter: :crying1: Hey, my fault entirely. :DOH2: Fortunately, I got on the internet via my cellphone and found the new location. Had a great time :bounce: ...once I arrived. This leads me to suggest that it might not be a bad idea for someone from our group down there in Indiana to have cellphone numbers of possible attendees in case there is a full cancellation or a change of location. In case anyone cares :NC , my cellphone is 248--396--4O15. Feel free to share my cellphone number with any single middle-aged women possessing above-average intelligence who enjoy camping! :eyebrows:
I am REALLY looking forward to our get-together!!!!

Well this time next week we will be having breakfast by the fire an thinking about packing up and saying our goodbyes. :(

Gonna use today to load the barn with all the camping goodies and start a check list. This is my last non-working day available so gotta use it to get my stuff together. I need to get more organized ! My camping gear seems to get scattered to the wind when we get home. Some items are in the house others are in one trailer and need to be in the other , some are in the garage and other items are in the storage barn or front porch. Like a big game of hide and seek. :x

For those interested I will have a few 14" lid lifters available $20.00 each.
Ask your friends and camping buddies and save them the shipping cost.

6 days until the Shivaree :snow

This brings up a real good point and I think it is time to once again thank the directors and others that helped get the word out to all of last years attendees when we had to make a sudden adjustment. It became a barking chain someone calls and you call a couple and they call a couple and the word spreads then we reported back to the directors to let them know who has been notified. Our group is a real tight knit bunch and it is really comforting to know we have each others backs.

A big thanks to all my camping buddies see some of ya Saturday.

I got your back I'LL bring the snow shovel :rofl2:

OK boys and Girls just discovered some real downer news.
The Colts Play off is Sat at 8:15
So there's only 2 choices that I see. Change the date or yours truly and whomever wants to join me will be sitting in a bar or the casino watching it on the big screen.

Unless a Redneck antenna on a big pole (hint hint Jeff) can pick it up in the woods

When times get tough you find out who your
real friends are HUH !

Got the barn partially loaded today and thought I would see what the heater will do. It is over 60 degrees from stone cold in 2 hours on just the 750 watt setting. I guess insulating a roof make a big difference :D

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.
