I contacted Wolf Park about their activities that weekend here is the response......

Hi Bob,

We do have guided tours Tues-Sunday 1-5 pm and also Howl Nights on Friday and Saturday Nights at 7:30 pm and then our Wolf-Bison Demonstration is on Sundays at 1:30 here at Wolf Park. During the time you all will be in the area we are having a "Walk for Wolves" fundraiser event and it will consist of walking with a wolf the first lap around. I have attached information for you. I look forward to seeing your group here!

Wolf park is about two rock throws away from Prophetstown State park . If I had to guess about 3 miles.

Whoa what a flash back I remember the week Greg's dad Jack bought the XXX.

Jack was a regular customer at the Shell station where I worked.

I remember Greg when he was in Junior High and coming into the station with his Dad.

Good God was that really 34 years ago !

We went to wolf park when the boys were 6 months old, very neat place to see. It was real funny cause as we walked by the fence the wolfs just followed us looking at the boys like they were dinner, Ok I know that sounds mean but it was pretty funny. Probaby have to take the boys back again now that we don't have to carry them.

Contacted the local newspaper and the local television station with this little announcement .....

The Indiana tearjerkers will have a gathering at Prophetstown State Park Sept 24 -26 at Battleground , IN.

There are expected 25 - 30 commercial and home built trailers some as small 4' X 8' (the size of a single sheet of plywood ) These tiny trailers sleep 2 comfortably and have a self contained kitchen in the rear.

We felt this inexpensive camping hobby may be of interest to your readers ( viewers for the TV E-mail). We would like to invite you to visit and if you find it interesting enough to feature we will be pleased to show you our toy R.V.'s

I am enclosing a few pictures of past gatherings to hopefully peak your curiosity.

Bob Henry 765-538-2580

Maybe we can actually get some coverage DURING a gathering.

I know, "Don't hold your breath" but what the hell I wasn't
busy at work and it only took a few minutes to E-mail them.
You just never know !!!

Good job, Bob. That would be a neat experience.
I did hear from a couple that came up to Whitewater to check out the TDs. In fact, we are meeting them tomorrow at a car rally and they will be showing off their new TD they had made at the same place we did. They loved the idea after seeing all of ours at the gathering. Hope to recruit them for the September gathering. :applause:

Get them talked into making a reservation and joining us. If that don't work make them promise to at least visit.

(6 PM on Sat is a real good time) :picnic:

The more the merrier !!

Did ya get your little leak fixed ?

Yep we got our leaks fixed plus he cleaned our camper and put a shelf in for me above our cabinet free and added another electrical outlet. Pays to complain sometimes. He seems very open to our concerns and wants to know what needs to be addressed for his future builds. I think I have become his new outsource person. Hey, if it helps us out too, I am willing.
For the other couple from Indy...they will be a captive audience at the car rally so we will see. I am pushing for them to come so they can learn like we did from all of you guys.
Hey did I see where you will be parked next to us at Prophetstown? Hope so, I know we will have a lot more fun that way (learning from the master and mistress of TD !)
See ya.
Barb
