sticker required?

Postby needafixit » Mon Sep 13, 2010 10:37 am

is this a state park? or national or county park,is a sticker on vehicle required? I have never been there, but I have been to your teardrop factory. I would like to spend sat. night at the gathering, I was thinking I would take a non-electric site, would a non-electric site put me far away from the activities? I will be a party of one,in my micro-motorhome(plymouth voyager van)

This is a county park and no reservations are necessary. You are welcome to come and park anywhere. See the attached website for outlay of the park.

We would love to have you join us!

Like Tina said, it is a county park & no sticker is required if you are camping.

It does not take reservations as the office is officially closed for the season. But the campground is still open. You self-register on-site. Come on in & find a place to set up. We have the run of the place. You will see us - we will be near the shower house & of course, you can't miss all the teardrops. Pick any spot (the site boundaries are rather open - this will make more sense once you see the campground). If you don't want electric, just don't hook up to the pedestal & register for a non-electric site. You can be as close or as far away as you want.

I will PM you with more info.

Hi Steve,

Got your order & added you to the "confirmed" list of attendees. Glad you will be able to make it!

My hand is doing well, thanks for asking. The only part that even shows the burn now is about an inch long on the side of my index finger knuckle. Fortunately, the quick treatment in ice water really helped. Kind of nasty looking though. But everything is functional, so that's more important than looks.

Tina & I make a great pair on the camping injuries circuit! Luckily, her cut fingers looked pretty good by Sunday afternoon.

See you next week!

Is it possible, FULL RV in a 48 Sq.Ft. footprint & stay under 500Lbs wet?
SHE thinks teardrops are "cute" but I prefer a SKOSH mo-room & at 65+ the
body doesn't react/extract/move/mend/bend/lend or work like it use'ta.
NOW! Those unwanted guests moving in, Mr. 'Arther I. Tus' & Ms. DVT (grrr)

I guess count me in. I hope its OK to bring an alcoholic beverage, like maybe some home made stout (chocolate stout). I will be way late, after 9PM.

Put me down for some stir fried noodles. I have to check out what is on sale before I decide what meat is going in it.
