Paddled to Hell on the river( that mostly froze over) and back a number of years ago (winter canoe trip). I would like to come but Nancy is definitely a fair weather camper.

Hey, these winter camping adventures are mostly attended by we macho, manly men :? although a couple wives in Hoosierland (who were great sports plus love camping  ) have been to their Tear Jerkers Winter Shiveree over the last couple years. So, bring your better half if you can. Otherwise, stag is fine.

Just a thought or two...

Award-winning Teardrop Builder, Dan Sutton from Greenwood, IN can rent a Teardrop to you for the weekend or build you a custom job. Or, you can go to HELL and simply stay in one of the hotels listed at the bottom of my initial announcement.

We still have room for a few more people.

Surely there are a few more hardy souls from Michigan, Indiana, Ohio or other neighboring states who can stand a little cold, right?? Just do what I did when I bought my Little Guy 2 years ago just before the 2009 Hoosier Winter Shiveree. I said, "What the Hell...why not?" ... and I decided to be spontaneous (not normally in my nature) and go to my very first tearjerkers gathering ... in January of all months. I had a wonderful time and have lots of good memories that I still am talking about today and will continue to talk about for many years to come. So, in light of us camping in Hell, please say what I said ... "What the Hell...why not?" ... and just decide you are going to attend.
Please let me know if you can come.
Thanks!

That's the enthusiasm I like to see.

If only I could get Kramer (from Seinfeld) to say, "We're going to HELL, Baby!!!"

The attendee list keeps growing!

ATTENDEES:
Karl
Boodro
Doug M.
Bev & Bob
Brad & Gary
Chris (maybe Jill??)

So, that's 6 rigs and 8 or 9 people THUS FAR.

Come on, people. This is your big chance to be wild and crazy. This is your opportunity to impress your kids, your siblings, your ex-spouse, your in-laws, your coworkers and boss, and the world in general that you were daring enough to do some WINTER CAMPING in HELL!! Just think! You will be able to tell stories about camping in HELL for the rest of your life. People will ooo and ah as you regale them with how you braved death in Hell one fateful weekend in February 2011. People will gaze at you and give you that “I now have deep respect for youâ€

<click, click> There's no place like ....... Hell?

I wish , I wish , I wish ... I actually have some days off I have to take before the end of Feb but no campable camper ... yet.

And it's a freakin long drive ... wish I could afford the plane ticket and just come anyway ... but that plane ticket price will be my aluminum.

Y'all have fun ..

Dorothy...oops...I mean, Julie,
You have days you use or lose, huh? Oh boy. Too bad you can't make it up here. Hell is beautiful that time of year... And you'll be missing out on a wild weekend with lots of great memories. I understand, though...$400 for a plane ticket or $400 for aluminum. Maybe you can make CRA 2011 in Indiana or one of the other two gatherings I'll have this year in Michigan.
There is still some time in case you change your mind.
