Please post what dish you'd like to bring for the "Pitch-in" Dinner. Time is flying by so fast that the gathering will be here before we know it.

Pitch-in Menu items:

Kurt - Low Country boil with new potatoes, corn on the cob, sausage (polska kielbasa style), shrimp (optional)
Verna - helping Kurt with ingredients for Low Country Boil
Jarred & Misty - Easy Cheeseburger Pie in the dutch oven
Bob Henry - APPLE PIE DUMP CAKE
Dan & Laura - marinated and grilled chicken, and a desert of some kind
Whitney - Baked Beans and frozen fruit salad
Tim & Judy - Hoppin' John and corn bread
Jim & Cindy - Shrimp for the Low Country Boil
Gale McMahon - Pasta Salad
Tim & Toni - Chili
Dave & Barb - Tri-berry salad, dessert, and a side dish
Shortkamp - green beans and a little something else

Here's the menu so far. It sure looks good and the weather should be almost "perfect" for the weekend.

Madison, IN is a fun town to visit. There is something for everyone so enjoy the area.

This gathering will be one of the "15th Anniversary" of the founding of Tearjerkers.

This birthday party should be a lot of fun (as are all of our gatherings).

Safe travels to all..

I wanted to make sure we ended up on the pitchin menu. How about green beans and alittle something else.
I am a workaholic that loves a good challenge. It will also give my dad and me a good project to work on together. I plan on putting several miles on this teardrop, so I want to build it right.

I just pulled in and unhooked the teardrop.

Wow, what a great weekend. That was one of our best Spring gatherings ever. Thanks so much to all who attended.

The pitch-in was a sight to behold as usual.

I hope everyone enjoyed the "Clifty Falls" park experience. :applause:

Thanks to the Indiana Tearjerkers group I have now been in quite a few indiana state parks and hands down this is the single nicest one of them. Sites were hugh with lots of elbow room. It was well groomed and well appointed.

We had 2 trailers that I know of attending their very first gathering We hope Ken and Peggy from Chicago and Whitney and Tracie from Crothersville will become regulars with the group.

Yes it was a great gathering and the weather was fantastic. Once again good food ,good friends, and a good time.

P.S. I hope to be able to post a few pics this afternoon !

As I was wandering around after everyone left Sunday, the campground hosts stopped me and asked if I was part of the Tear Jerkers group. Receiving an affirmative, they asked me to relay the following message to the group (freely edited by me to include the meat of the conversation, not the exact words!):

Thanks to all the Tear Jerkers for being such a great bunch! All campsites were totally cleared upon the campers leaving - usually even the most considerate persons leave something behind, but the Tear Jerkers had really cleaned up everything. Tear Jerkers are welcome back at Clifty Falls any time they want to come! :applause:

It's good to be part of such a well-thought-of group, even if I am one of the newest members! I look forward to the Summer Gathering, when I will actually be able to stay for the pitch-in!

Thanks! Sharon

Sharon, thanks for relaying that information. As far as I know we have always been thought of as a great bunch of campers who leave the place (at least) as clean as we found it. This isn't the first time I've comments that were very positive.

Thanks for being part of the group.
