Well the rains have almost passed thru to settle the dust.

It is followed by moderating temps with the nightly lows forcasted in the 60's

Still looking great for yet another wonderful gathering ! :applause:

WOW! What a great time! :awesome: My head is swimming with ideas.

Bob, thanks so much for encouraging (re: badgering and nagging) me into coming. The boys and I had a terrific time.

Verna and Sharon, we couldn't have asked for nicer neighbors. The boys really enjoyed you two and Sunny Day, too.

I may even have the wife talked into the September gathering.

GerryS, I'll be in touch.

Thanks, again, everybody!

Thanks to all of the attendees for the Summer gathering. We picked another nice weather weekend and I enjoyed meeting the new campers as well as the ones that I already knew.

The Fall gathering will be coming up in September (27-29) and should be a fun gathering too.

Follow the Fall gathering at this link.

Wish we could have been there, sure missed see all our friends. Thought we could make up to the last minute.
Family matters took too much time, both my parents went into health care home a month ago. Mom is doing
well, but Dad not so good. Just could not get away for the weekend. Hope to see everyone in Anderson.

I wanted to thank all the old and (now new) friends for a great turn out and a grand weekend. I hope you all had as much fun as I did. Once again Kurt will gladly take full credit for the fabulious choice of weekends for great weather. (Hell I could see my breath Sat AM it was that cool.) A great change for the 100 degree stretch we had just endured.

Thank to all , now lets see some pictures !!!!!!

OK, I have a few pictures, but they're just of my setup:

95870
My New Paha Que tent over the Little Guy--weighing in at only 37 lbs, it was a lot easier on me to set it up. Thanks to Bob, Jeff and Sharon for helping me set it up the first time

95868
My cheap imitation of a Fantastic Fan--just hang an O2 fan on an expandable shower curtain rod under the vent--it works!! I have to work on the idea a bit because the 110V cord wouldn't fit into the hole that was too close to the rod....I'll figure out a modification.

95869
These little Sylvania LED lights from Lowe's are hanging from another shower curtain rod from their rare earth magnets. Yes, they're bright enough to read by.....not that I stayed awake for long enough to read much :goodnight:

Here's some :pictures: I took last weekend.

95933
Our "not a teardrop or tiny trailer" sleeping area.

95930
This is how a 15 year old tends fire and waits for desert.

95929
We forgot the sticks to make Brown Bears; therefore we improvised.

95931
2 little boys entertaining themselves with a game.

95932
Our neighbor's (Sharon) welcome flamingo.

Sorry, I forgot the camera and had to use my iPhone.
