Right now though bob, I'd like nothing more than a cancellation note because of predicted 3 days of steady rain.... :(

See you there, well have to make the bet of the dry pleasant weather.

Gerry, I hate to be Optimistic but the forecast calls for mid to high 80's with a very slight of no rain over the weekend.

Bob's the messenger, I'm in charge of the weather. If it is a rainy weekend, let's rejoice for the farmers. They have had a really tough year so a little rain on our heads is a small price to pay.

Hope you enjoy the weekend.

I had just gone to bed last night when I heard a sound on the window I almost forgot what it was, it was raining first in a month and a half. I haven't even mowed since June 1 Yes a little more rain would be nice

OK Map update Camp ground is pretty full guess the hot weather isn't scaring us campers at all

Let me know if I missed any one

Gerry I realize you are new to this gathering thing but we don't cancel for a little rain !
The spring gathering at Raccoon 2 years ago was a monsoon and we had the damndest party ever standing ankle deep in the rain. However the wind did cost a couple campers their gazebos. So remember stake them down good and remember to party on .....

Scott,

I have 47 and 75.

Rob on one, Mike on the other.
Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...

Scott,

That sounds like a great idea, I appreciate the offer!
We'll have a look and let you know, but I'd guess we'll take you up on it.
What days do you have it reserved for?
Rob

Nope never really came up, It's old and tired with 215,000 miles. After pulling the camper home from my mothers barn we decided that we think it's done and the transmition wouldn't take it
Not sure we're gonna be able to get something to pull it for a while so we're discussing putting it up for sale to start the new one or tearing it down if it doesn't sale and using the frame.

I know your pain when it comes to "The Stone" It a neat setup and its hard to just give up on an old friend. Like you, I built Chubby on a very tight budget and as I walked past him setting in the side yard I can not help but notice what mother nature has done to him. Without the luxuary of a barn to hide him in , the past 5 years ( has it been 5 years already) of constant weather has taken its toal. Once the housing mess is behind me I hope to be able to repair or replace as need the damaged outer shell and keep my best buddy and pal for another 5 years of campin' fun.

Bob/Scott, I know the feeling also. I gutted mine last winter and gave it a good face lift for the future. Sure, someday it will look weather beaten and tired again but for now the new interior and galley will be like having a new friend to camp with for a while.

Scott, the experience and ideas that you put into the "Stone" will really help if you build (or rebuild) another trailer.
