I see that - we are going to go ahead and book one of those sites - and we are going to bring our Tear, done or not. We are making a list of the minimum that needs to be done so we can camp in it that weekend! We'll be there!

Edited to Add - we reserved one of those last two sites. So see y'all there!

In the past we have never had a formal sign up for the potluck on Saturday night. Everyone just brought what they
felt they wanted to contribute. Always end up with a great variety somehow and always way too much. ;applause;

Teardroppers are known for liking to cook and eat ;laugh;

If anyone would like to start a list of what you would like to bring, I can try and keep it updated for others.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Hi Chuck & Theresa.

Welcome to the gathering. Looks like we just may have a full loop :applause:

Look forward to meeting you and seeing your teardrop...it will be a good place to gather ideas and information.

See you in a few weeks

Let's hope it's the beginning of an epidemic, LOL - ok, maybe not. We kinda like marching to a different drum....

Your TD will be there in spirit! Ours isn't done either, but should be done enough to camp in - at least that is our plan. If not, then we'll be in a tent.... Hubby is working every spare minute to get our campable by the TBRT weekend...

catleppert wrote:Thanks, Rob! For the welcome and the idea of bringing the trailer, even if unfinished. We honestly hadn't even thought of that! Now hubby is outside figuring what at minimum he needs to do to it so we could camp in it that weekend. Will likely need to put a tarp over it to protect it, but it sure would be fun seeing everyone's trailer and I know Chuck would appreciate the chance to talk to others who are just as interested in Tears as he is! We are going to try to make it happen - either skinned or not!

By the way, we took a few minutes to check out your website - lots of cool pics and plenty of adventures! I hope to create a web page for Chucks' Teardrop journey this winter once things calm down and I have a bit more time on my hands.....

Again,thanks for the welcome!

It is still fun, even in a tent.
Over the years, many have brought unfinished trailers, and have been very happy they did.
You are just as welcome, finished or not. :thumbsup:
Finding people to give you tours of their trailers shouldn't be too hard... ;)

I'll be unable to attend. I've canceled, so site 84 is now available. :cry:

Just a few days until TBTR5 and kinda quiet on the forum.
As of today I am planning to arrive Thursday and to make a real trip of it I plan to go from the gathering to a friend's place at Keosaqua, Iowa and fish his ponds for a couple days.
I was going through some old pictures of my campsite on one of his ponds and found this
gallery/image_page.php?album_id=1838&image_id=11025 :lol: Should I be afraid of a Goose Ghost? :thinking:

Hi Randy!

Sounds like you just might need some time off if you are starting to see Goose Ghosts! :lol:
One can only imagine the size of the goose ghost droppings you will be camping in.

Actually that is a neat picture... :pictures:

We are coming down thursday night after work to set up for the weekend.
See ya there soon!

It's getting closer....

Just thought we'd post the official supper time for Saturday night potluck as I know many will ask and no one
will want to make the offical call.... :thinking:

Saturday Night Potluck will be at 6:30 pm

this way those that want to wander about for the day sight-seeing or doing the garage sale thing don't have
to hurry back to cook.

At this moment we (Jerry & I) are planning to stick around camp on saturday as we are going to cook a couple
roast over the fire on our "spit" for supper.

See everyone soon!
