Got home about 12:00 (noon) and started unpacking.

I had a great time at Mounds State Park and I trust that you all did also. Couldn't ask for better weather and food, and friends.

Stay tuned to the forums for information on the "Crossroads of America" gathering in July 2013.

Made it home and, thanks to Billy's "How to back your trailer" mini-course and some practice in the Target parking lot, was able to get Gertrude into the drive and her parking spot without difficulty. :applause: Thank you Billy. I will keep practicing and should be able to get it into the next camping spot without any problems!
Sharon

I really need to re-retire one of these days.

Sharon, you had the best teacher around. It really makes life simpler when you can back up a trailer.

Home from camping. Van unloaded. "New" camper parts stored. Had a great time with the Indiana Tearjerkers. Maybe by spring we won't be in a tent.

Stopped by "Crazy Bob's Deep Discount Teardrops" for some parts to The Behemoth. Watch the build threads this winter.

It's only dumb if it doesn't work.

Pete, I enjoyed you and your family. I'm glad you had a good time at Mounds State Park.

It was a great weekend indeed!

If you take out the loud neighbors, and trains :). Next year, how about another park eh?

Looking forward to shiveree and the spring gathering...

Gerry, I'm glad we had a chance to talk and get to know each other a little.

As far as the trains; we can fix that but the loud neighbors is a little harder.

We always try to mix it up each year so that we move around the state for our gatherings.

You didn't mention the planes but they were obviously an issue for some people also.

I'll take a pass on those things and be thankful for the great weather. It's usually all about the weather and food. Not necessarily in that order.

I am glad that you enjoyed the weekend. Information about the spring gathering will be available in the next several weeks.

Martha & and I had a wonderful time and both agree that we have never met a more friendly group of people. We are looking forward to next years gatherings. Sorry we did not get to say good by to every one. Martha had to be at work at 7:00am so we headed out at 2:30am.

Randy & Martha, glad you had a good time. Next year I hope you can stay longer and really enjoy the people, events and food.

Those "pesky" day jobs really eat in to the fun times but everybody needs one (except me and a few others - retirement is fun too).

What a great weekend!!!!! I've really enjoyed meeting so many great people and can't wait to get the winter over with so we can all get together for the spring gathering. The weather was so great that it compensated for putting up with the planes and trains :D However, I must admit that the noise didn't bother me a bit once I got to sleep. Thanks to all who made it such a great weekend :applause:

Dan, That must belong to "Jeff #2". He sent me a PM asking about it.

Gerry, the Shiveree is an event planned by the bunch of renegades (cold weather advocates).

I have not gone to a Shiveree to camp out in the cold. Soon you'll see a Shiveree thread on the forum.

It does sound like fun but not for me (unless I change my mind)
