LOL Have fun................

I'm disappointed. Snows fine. It's the idiot road crew plan to salt the roads into oblivion. No need for it. Salt eats cars and kills plantings on the roadside.

Darn it!

OK it time for some positive thinking......

Starting from scratch early Sat. morning I am preparing a 3 pound english roast with potatoes carrots and celery and gonna dump in a couple cans of other veggie to round things out. At the end I will top it off with biscuits to cook in the D.O. for the last 12 minutes or so.

Got the Apple pie fixins to prepare tonight. :wine:

And stocked in all the goodies for a nice breakfast cassarolle for Sunday AM.

I am 20 for 20 on all the official ( and semi official) gatherings since the 1/08 shivaree and I will be damned if I am gonna break the chain now.

[We visited the fall 07 gathering but rode the goldwing in just to visit.]

A "dusting " of snow is just for the ambiance and to set the backdrop for some more great pictures of fun in the snow.

Be there Sat about 11 am

If all goes well, we'll be pulling in about 3pm on Friday. Since I've only camped a couple times, I need a little advice. What is on your must have packing list for this weekend?

Mikey..if your the first one there try to find a spot where we can park our trailers on either side of a nice fire pit. This will allow us to use the larger trailers as windbreaks!!

Will do.

What kind of gas heater do you recommend? I've been using my new electric heater the past couple days to do some work on the trailer and it gets pretty toasty.

Bob..your right!!! Maybe we can figure out a way to "circle the wagons"!

Mike.. I use an electric heater as well and it works GREAT!! My only concern would be an electrical failure in the park and not being able to use it (yea this happened to me once). I also have a Mr. Heater that uses 1lb propane bottles and really like it..in fact I will bring it along and you can use it if needed.

Laugh if you will but I packed my rain suit.....

They really will cut the wind if things get blustry and they hold in the body heat too.

I will have my 10 x 10 first up with sides installed for a little living room get away

We generally have a couple or more grouped together for party central.

Haven't heard if Scuba is gonna make it with the big tent. His new driving job has him hoppin right now.
